Best type of fridge for hanging meat.
« on: October 13, 2018, 08:31:46 am »
Hello guys, I'm a raw paleo newbee and I've been reading your posts quietly for several weeks. Today I decided to ask a question because I really want to do this right and try to not expose myself to a dangerous health situation.

So, first is safety. I've looked up that the best way to keep meat fresh or at least dry aged is in a refrigerator. I live in my parents' house so I don't too much space in the common fridge. I'm looking now to buy an used fridge for storing my hanging meat. I'm looking for a good and slow aging process (around 0.5-1 degrees) well-ventilated fridge where I can put some mason jars for other animal foods too.
These are my possible options, which is best?
Mini fridge, regular fridge, commercial coke cooler or wine cooler.
I don't know if all thsese machines can be force regulated with a temperature controller which is what i'm going to do.
