WHERE to buy food.? I'm in the Toronto area, but post anyway.

Hey ,
alright guys so. I'm wondering WHERE you get or buy your natural food.
I've been having a bit of trouble with this.
Luckily, I recently found a mennonite shop in Whitby [one of my hometowns] that sells grass fed organic beef.

Where are the best places to buy raw animal products of high quality? List them here. Country> City> location [street name if possible].

Hopefully someone on this forum is from Ontario. Right now I'm living in Peterborough Ontario and I have no clue where to buy high quality food. I'm next to a no-frills and a price chopper and don't know any specialty shops around here, in fact I'm not sure they exist.. though there are farms and farmer's market...

I don't know the situation in Canada but, in the UK, farmers' markets are brilliant. I have a semi-organic farmers' market association here in London, UK, which provides me with everything I need(well, I do sometimes use another fishmonger away from the market and I buy fruit elsewhere as otherwise the weight of my fortnightly shop would be too much).

What you ought to do is look up organic directories/grassfed directories like eatwild.com(just search under "Canada" and you'll find plenty of farms who will deliver to your door.

Ask naturopaths, herbalists, chiropractor, even some health food stores etc. That's how I found my farmer source in the Ottawa valley.

Eatwild.com I believe is mostly in US. Maybe you can find some stuff near your border.
