Why does raw milk make me urinate a lot?
« on: July 24, 2012, 05:22:08 am »
It has a similar effect as when I drink alcohol. The urine is clear and a lot, as if my body is flushing itself out quickly. It makes me think my body does not want it. I understand this, but I don't have access to many foods right now.

Does anyone else have this experience and/or no why exactly this happens? Will this in anyway effect the amount of calories or nutrients I absorb from the milk?

I experience this too with most raw dairy, though I specifically get constipation from consuming raw cheese.  I am certain that diarrhea/excess urination is a sign that the body wants to get rid of the stuff in it. Perhaps the hormones in raw dairy in particular  stimulate these actions.

It is a liquid, so that's to be expected. It could just mean your body is processing the raw milk accordingly. I wouldn't stress over it. As long as you don't have an allergic reaction. I think it's normal

Sugar goes along with excessive urination too. I think it may be the lactose.  Give milk to an animal and they urinate more too.

Too often we get caught up trying to get to the end. What is most important however is to discover the beginning. We don’t solve problems or start to heal unless we can be willing, be kind, laugh a little and commit to seeking until we find. If we can, we’ll get started. I’ll meet you at the beginning!
