What cooked foods did someone say he eats?  When did they say it?  Did they say what time he ate it?  He started out as a cooked food eater, a very sick one.  He has not been raw all his life.

He definitely drinks milk.  Almost every time I've been anywhere near him he had a container of milk he was drinking in his hand.  I think it's not straight, but has an egg mixed in.

Funny, I've escorted cancer patients to oncology appointments.  These doctors tell the patients that during treatment they should drink lots of milkshakes (with egg).  They give them recipe books, but everything is heated!  Maybe a leftover from a hundred years ago treating cancer with RAF?  These doctors say there is proof that high antioxidant food preVENTS cancer, but no proof that it helps cure it, so put on weight with these milkshakes!

Iv met him and he seems young and very energetic for his age, afterall, he says he only needs 4 hours of sleep a day. I think every raw food has healing properties, not just the ones defined as paleo.

You see, its wrong to assume that paleo is necessary RAW. Not at all.

Besides it is still an open question whether the PURE paleo is any better than more broader animal foods based diet which includes some non-paleo foods like dairy etc.

For the best results, palaeo has to be raw. As for claims re raw dairy and other non-palaeo foods, given that so many people get nasty reactions to grains/dairy/legumes, raw or otherwise, and given the plentiful scientific studies damning those non-palaeo foods, a raw, palaeolithic diet is clearly a far better option.

I agree. AV is misleading with his dangerous advices (dairy, veggie juices, forcefeeding, etc.).

On the flipside it is obvious that an all cooked meat to well done paleo diet lean meat every day would be a kidney killer.

Of course each person is responsible to find out what works for him.  I have no doubts that some people thrive on raw dairy or can find another kind of combination of foods and habits that may work for them.

Lately my 5 year old girl was for 2 weeks suffering from a terrible cold.  It was only when I put her on a 1 day juice fast and raw paleo diet did her cold subside.  1 week of cooked meat paleo diet did not relieve her of her cold.

So why she isn't on raw paleo diet all the time so she would be healthier? Why she is eating the worse food?

You can't expect children to be 100% RPD all the time. I mean when I was a kid I was expected to eat sweets with other children along with birthday cakes etc. etc. All part of growing up, I'm afraid. It's only when one leaves University that one can really choose to be 100% RPD ALL the time if one so chooses. Even then it's a struggle, though 85-99%+ is not so difficult for many.

Yeah, I know. But GS's children become ill when they eat cooked foods and become healthy after eating raw foods.
In this situation health is much more important than some social compromises. IMO.
Healthy diet is much more important when we're young, when we're growing.

It's not always that black and white, plus who knows the exact life of a cold, here one day, gone the next.   We think we know what cures them.

I know exactly what colds are.  And a mucusless diet like RPD stops all colds.

So why she isn't on raw paleo diet all the time so she would be healthier? Why she is eating the worse food?

Social reasons.  And my wife fears parasites in land animals.

My wife is not on RPD. My wife is on Paleo Diet with small amounts of organic white rice she uses when she works out at the gym.  My wife will eat raw duck eggs and raw fish, but will cook land animals.  Of course fruit is always raw.  Kids eat same as my wife.

Kids feel ashamed to eat raw meat in school.

We live with my wife's family and have meals together.  Grandma, grandpa, 2 aunts, 4 maids and 2 drivers.

Maybe a little more time and the kids will get to full RPD full time.

"Bacteria use lactose, or milk sugar, as a nutrient base. Bifidobacteria and clostridia use lactose, and they often describe these strains of bacteria as lactose-fermenting bacteria. One difference in Bifidobacteria and Clostridia is that only one can produce significant amounts of ammonia, only one can damage the intestines. Milk oligosaccharides contain lactose; they are fermented in the infant colon where they selectively stimulate the growth of Bifidobacteria. Clostridia are competitors of Bifidobacteria, and Clostridia produce ammonia. Ammonia and only ammonia produced from bacteria could have caused the aberrant behaviors. "

I do have problems with higher ammonia and when I drink milk, I feel better.

Kurian probably got that info from durianriders anti-AV youtube video.

The part where AV says he only eats half raw is when he got extremely sick and craved some french bread and he smeared garlic over it.

to paraphrase.. "and it was at this point I knew 70% of the foods in my diet would be raw."

He ended up going 100% though.

He said that at that point 70% of his food was raw at the time, and then he decided that all should be raw. The French bread was only recommended as (and used by AV as described in his first book) a remedy for overemotionality, and Tyler posted elsewhere that AV does not recommend it anymore.
