Clothes Lines Banned in the USA?
« on: October 09, 2010, 07:45:33 am »
Is this true?

Your clothes don't get sunshine and air drying?

Clothes lines are the in thing in my country.

They try to stop you doing anything they can.

I made two things for hanging stuff in the house. One hangs from the ceiling and has a rope and pulley thingy to lower it so my GF can reach it. The other thing is a floor mounted one. We have sealed off the dryer and don't use it.

We rent the house so don't have an outdoor line yet but will when we move.

Between the raw diet and no dryer our electric bill is probably half. We use gas for heat.
Cheers
Al

Nothing smells better than clothes dried in the sun.
