My opinion is that anti-neoplaston therapy are supplements that give cancer sick people the nutrition raw paleo dieters regularly receive.

So people can live their common SAD diet / cooked diet and pollutive lifestyles.  Which is the kind of cure the public desires.

Thanks for the link, GS. Unfortunately, it's not working. I suspect because the server at that site is overwhelmed by the traffic. The movie is also available at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Burzynski-Movie-Cancer-Serious-Business for $2.99 rental. I might watch it. The documentary has apparently received positive reviews from some significant sources like the New York Times and Variety.

Burzynski's antineoplastons initially sounded like another quack therapy, but the more I investigated, the more plausible it seemed. I haven't found any critic who have convincingly refuted the antineoplaston theory that Dr. Burzynski proposes, although Quackwatch attempted it in a way that comes across as not very thorough to me. If it were as nonsensical as his critics claim, it shouldn't be difficult to refute.

Interestingly, the FDA reportedly approved Phase III (the final phase) of the clinical trials for this therapy http://www.cancerdecisions.com/content/view/172/2/lang,english/ and a research institute reportedly partnered with Burzynski to conduct the clinical trials http://www.burzynskiresearch.com/assets/PressRelease_01262009_BZYR.pdf. So the FDA appears to take Dr. Burzynski's research much more seriously than his critics do.

According to some of his critics, Burzynski already is rather wealthy from his therapy and presumably will become extraordinarily wealthy if his therapy passes phase III and receives final approval, which Eric Merola, the creator of the movie, said is highly likely.

Merola said that this book got him interested in Burzynski's work: The Cancer Industry: The Classic Expose on the Cancer Establishment, Updated Edition, by Ralph W. Moss.

If there is nothing to antineoplastons then this must be one of the biggest hoaxes ever. Either there is something to it or oncologists are terribly misdiagnosing a lot of people. Given that the FDA is still approving antineoplaston therapy 30 years after Burzynski started working on it and after initially trying to stop the research, the former seems more plausible. Does anyone have a refutation of the antineoplaston theory?

It's okay for Burzynski to be rich or even richer as long as he delivers a cure better than today's toxic chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.

Of course I'd also want us raw paleo dieters to get a piece of the pie.  

These sick people should fly in and live with us and eat with us so we can teach them raw paleo diet which will deliver better results than this antineoplastons.

Yes, and I noticed that his critics focus largely on personal attacks on him and mostly don't even try to refute the efficacy of his therapy or the soundness of the science behind it, which is usually a sign that they either don't understand it or know that there is something to it.

Of course I'd also want us raw paleo dieters to get a piece of the pie.

To make any money at it, you'd probably need to create a tropical retreat, preferably on a beach, where people could vacation and have fun while eating healthy foods. It should be more practical in a relatively low-labor-cost tropical nation with beaches like the Philippines than most places.
