Dry Brushing
« on: March 17, 2011, 02:42:02 am »
Heard about it on the paleo forum and it sounds great for its detoxing and skin health abilities. Anyone have any tips? Also I plan to do this right after a shower since I dont use soap, the water brings off all the dirt on my skin and i'd guess drying off and then dry brushing off all the dirt would help? Or should I do this prior to a shower?

dry brush before the shower :)
start at your ankles, work up to your torso,
then go from your wrists to your heart, always from the extremities inwards
the first few times it feels rough but then it feels better
take about five minutes
you will notice heat(circulation) afterwards
i do it on cold mornings to warm myself up..even if i am not getting in the shower
dry brush...wet rag to get all the skin off or jump in the shower real quick and rinse...pat dry skin...grease....excellent skin :)
dont worry about the brush getting dirty, it really doesnt get bad and it takes a long time to accumulate plus you are getting clean afterwards :)
dont brush your face !
