I have been struggling with search engine promotion with "paleo diet" and we cannot go up fast or far enough from page 2 because we are handicapped by our domain name.  But now that we have rawPALEODIETforum.com we are sure to make it to number 1.

In addition, I got sick and tired of that old directspace vps that was buggy and slow.

I've now chopped our website in 2 servers, the database runs on a dedicated server allocated lots of memory.

The only weak link may be the new VPS, but we shall see how she performs.

What we all want is a super duper fast forum.

Hey Lowenherz, you got better ping times than I did.

I'll experiment with setting up a VPS in my dedicated server in the next few days and see if that goes faster.

I tweaked the apache configuration for faster performance.
I hope you guys notice the difference because I certainly did notice the difference.

Seems much better. Before, it often took a few seconds to pass from page to page here. I had thought that was solely due to my very ancient PC.
