Oh-so-delicious salad with salmon-tartar
« on: December 19, 2011, 03:44:26 am »
Here comes a really delicious recipe. :)

Take salmon (another fish might do as well too), cut it into very small pieces, tartar style.
Then cut onion in very small pieces too, (maybe 1/2 small onion 1/2 pound fish)
a few spoons of wild, fermented Honeywater (50% Honey 50% water - let stay warm until fermented)
a few spoons of organic white wine vinegar (or limejuice)
one spoon fresh ginger cut into tiny pieces
add them to the salmontartar. Add seasalt and fresh ground pepper to taste.

You have to taste you into the right sourness / sweetness. I ususally start with less, and add until perfect balance.

Put the tartar on crispy fresh organic salad. Enjoy.

This is divine. :)

Oh Inger so yummy
I love salad with my meals. I love some sort of vegetable in every meal. I get a lot of stomach grumbling (no pain)and gas -\ I think this might still be an adjustment process, I love olive oil/ balsamic herb combo's on my salad. I don't like to combine or even cut my meat until just  before I eat it, unless I need to pack it for work. So, I'm not marinating the meat for long.
Do you notice any digestive problems, with vegetables and meat in the same meal. I like it and I am more satisfied. I don't enjoy eating one thing at a time. Please let me know how things are for you.

Each word led me on to another word,
Each deed to another deed.

Adora,
your food looks delicious!!!
I only do meat and green combos, other veges not so much..
Actually I eat only cucumber, green salads, herbs,  wild edibles.. as vegetables. Seldom anyting else.
As I used to make mixed salads with carrots, celery, avocados, sprouts, tomatoes... I got tummy troubles, yes. -[
So I quit it.
But in such combinations as I post here, no problems whatsoever!
I do not want tummy troubles, they are just annoying. :(
Adora, I suggest you start eating wild edibles! Like Lindenleave! They are sooo healing and great for tummy! You could mix them in salads too. I use oliveoil and balsamic too at times, no problems from them.
Try to use only cucumber and herbs and green salads, those might not hurt your tummy eather!

@ Dorothy,
thank you  :) Our food is beautiful, isn't it?

@ GS,
oh.. Bed and Breakfast.. there are such places here in Finland yes, but not raw paleos as I know.
Maybe I should make one. ;)
