Really Ty you use soap? I feel like my right to not have poison (soap, whether antibacterial or otherwise) on my skin supercedes any other perceived "duties" to people who will gladly take pharmaceutical poisons, mutilate their children(circumcision), and otherwise poison, themselves, others and our environments without a second thought.
The only time I use soap is to wash dishes for my squeamish friends and family, and in that case I won't do it unless I have latex or dish gloves. Otherwise, my right to health and freedom from toxins superceeds everything else.
And this is why, inspite of doing manual labor, I have soft, supple skin on my hands, while everyone else is slathering on loads of moisturizers.
Furthermore, if I take showers in municipally chlorinated water, I will get dry skin, whereas our farm well water does nothing of the sort. Typically I will go without a shower and simply clean underarms and genitals rather than bathe in chlorinated/fluoridated water. For those of you who still have skin problems out there inspite of being mostly raw, take note!
