Starting a religion
« on: January 23, 2012, 10:05:48 am »
It's 2012.

I am fucking sick of this shit.

I am poor, I have been walked on most of my life, the future is uncertain, I don't know what to do in my life, but I know that If I don't have my cows anymore, I can't afford to eat healthy and I will get sick again.

I have very meek ambitions. I want to keep a few cows, have some nature and a home and a family. How can I do this?

I want it I want it now.

I have gotten this far, I don't know where I should go next, but I think I know what's right and I'm not gonna back down.

WHAT IF there were some place where people could leave behind the darkness of this culture and we could live lives of purity.

I feel you!

But, not in answer to your questions, you can't get organs on the dirt cheap? I pay between $2 and $4 USD/lb for grassfed tongue, heart, liver, and sweet breads. Also what about poaching? Just because some unconstitutional bullshit law says you can't hunt whenever you feel like it doesn't mean it's true. You just have to be careful and only take what you need.

Also I think you need some LOA action, you keep thinking that way and that is the way things will continue to be, change your thoughts, change your beliefs and change your habits and your life will follow suit! Check out the Isaiah Effect and also Mike Dooley's stuff. You can pretty well make your world, or choose from a realm of infinite quantum possibilities to collapse whatever reality you want in to being, more or less...more than less. Maybe I'll strike out with you and start something new.

My heart goes out to you.

The Law of Attraction shows up over and over again in all good teachings. I am a student of James Allen's As A Man Thinketh, A Course in Miracles, and many other good works. Find and follow whatever path resonates with you, and you will be counting your blessings.

Do you know the consequences of poaching if caught? I'm curious because I've thought of doing it. After all, I'll only be doing it for food, to survive. I don't understand how that is punishable...

Thanks Eve, I was introduced to LOA last May and it made sense so I put it in to practice and it worked scary fast. Things, and relationships manifested within days in such peculiar ways that I couldn't put it up to coincidence anyway I tried to spin it so I am a 100% believer now. Which is really a great blessing because it's a great shift from 'the world is happening to me'.

Beast, the consequences are not pretty, usually it involves asset forfeiture (weapons, vehicles, etc), heavy, heavy fines, and lots of jail time and/or probation/parole. And to be honest I nearly support that for people who are poaching for financial gain, I abhor that sort of behaviour. However we have an intrinsic right to feed ourselves from the bounty of our loving Earth and as long as we're not eating the last panda or something like that (in other words we are taking sustainability into account) then I see no reason to follow modern mutant laws.

As far as the risk of getting caught, if you hunt like a scout, the chances are slim to none. Obviously it's not going to be safe hunting on a preserve where no hunting is ever allowed(with a gun, you can get away with quiet methods(bows, sling shots, etc) but you'd have to be careful during extraction, that is when you're most vulnerable). The best way to do it is to get private land or befriend someone of like mind who owns private land. Farmers around us are always shooting at coyotes and raccoons, or just target practicing so it is normal to hear gun shots year round. And if you shoot at night during full moons without the use of extraneous lights you are pretty much safe.

It can be done, but you have to be safe about it and be respectful of the animals, a little gratitude goes a long way.
