I ask because kenyan marathon runners drink a lot of tea and they add milk (mostly unpasturized) in their tea, so I was wondering if some of the anti-oxidants found in tea's are fat soluble and would benefit from having some raw milk or cream added to them?  I guess the same question applies to coffee too.  Any idea's?

sherpas also add yak butter to their green tea.......some of the properties in different herbs, roots and berries used to make tea are water soluble, some fat soluble, guess it depends on what you are trying to benefit from

ya that was what i was thinking.  I think there are alot of oils in the roobioos tea i drink so maybe i need to add some cream so i can get all the anti-oxidents and nutrients.

Use distilled water also for better extraction.
I dont think cream plays an important role in the extraction but maybe in the absorption because its added later and not during boiling / preparing.

My experience with teas is that ones that are made with heated water give me an upset stomach. If you put unpasteurized milk in hot tea it is no longer raw.
