Nothing beats a tree ripe peach with the juice dripping from your chin.  Darn it, now I wish I could still eat them... :(

Lex, what would happen if you ate a peach?

I ask because the last time I ate carbohydrates I had serious problems, for the first time.

Some serious bloating, gas, and general discomfort.  If I don't eat much I'm OK, but if I eat, say 3 or 4 pieces of fruit I'm in trouble.

The only fruit I had available within walking distance as a kid are still my favorite.
Sandhill plums, and our ridiculously old-fashioned apple tree.
