everybody knows that they were harvested by Aliens to be shipped all over the universe as quite the delicacy, and the lesser tougher parts used to feed the Alien slaves who built the Pyramids etc..

I suppose you must be getting rather annoyed at my posting almost any palaeo-relevant study whatsoever  on here, even if it is based on speculation and evidence which might be easily debunked and countered by yet more  studies in the future. You do have a point. It is just that science marches in small steps and I find such subjects of interest, even if they may be proven dead-wrong in the future.
