3-year old ram, questions

I've just processed a 3 year old ram.

I noticed large number of tiny roundworms in the lungs.
Besides these worms the lungs look normal.
Has anyone dealt with this before?  Is it OK to eat lungs just like that or freeze them or what?

Also, please help me identify this organ.  It is very firm.  Next to it is kidney for size comparison.
