I wonder if the lower rates could not be attributed to the fact that many non circumcisers(non mutilators) are often "crunchy parents" who also avoid vaccinations, chemical soaps, impure foods ect.

Simply put the people who care enough about their sons to not put them through that brutal procedure would also be more apt to protect their child from the other forms of abuse that the establishment would expose them too!

Autism is thought to be due to cold parenting in some countries (France, Belgium). Autism owing to cold parenting makes way more sense than circumcision, diet and vaccinations as the cause.

True.

Crunchy parents who chose not to circumcise, also practice attachment parenting, in which the child is held and nursed through the day, and sleeps at the mothers side at night.

All these factors could be variables that would explain why non circumcised males would have lower autism rates.

Definitely, babies require attention, validation, being held close, face to face communication.

If the parents are off doing other things, too busy to interact with child, or are expressionless when interacting with the kid in the early years it makes sense that they are not able to read faces or interact socially with others as they grow older.

If this theory is true then it is a tragedy of a monumental scale however, if the awful truth is known some kids maybe saved and it will reduce a lot of the distress or guilt for parents considering vaccinations.

edit. I would also like to see if there is a correlation between a children raised in a third world village, or a poor home with many generations living under the one roof compared to children raised in a suburban home, dropped off to day care while both parents work and the level of autism.

It's not the vaccination per se it's being affluent enough to afford the vaccination and all the trimmings that come with living in the first world.

The cold-parenting myth has been debunked long ago. Real autism, as in people with a high chance of conditions  like tourette's or prosopagnosia, often being unable to speak if exposed to bright lights or whatever etc., involves people being severely brain-damaged from birth and not merely developing issues after 2-3 years or so. Non-genuine autism is only called "autism" because the autism-spectrum has increased vastly solely because lazy, corrupt psychologists wanted to expand the criteria for it. In actual fact, most of those with so-called "minor" autism should have been rediagnosed as having quite other mental health conditions. That is why I groan whenever some  nitwit  claims some cure for autism as it simply does not exist for genuine autism - as in, we cannot reverse brain-damage yet.

I do agree that lack of parental contact can harm a child as lack of affection can, apparently, even kill a child. But other than that sort of extreme, a child would only develop emotional hardness of a sort from cold parenting.

I am of the opinion that the epidemic rise in autism is primarily due to  biological factors, we have debated this issue till the cows came home, and still there is no consensus on exactly what is the primary cause. I advocate multiple causality in which some factors may not be the direct cause, but in combination with other factors, exacerbate the condition.

For example, Low doses of mercury may not cause an issue in its self, but combined with selenium deficiency, and exposure to other toxic substances such as round up, then it must have a negative effect upon the developing brain. Autism is just one of many brain damaging conditions that are now becoming more prevalent in the modern world.
