Ukraine new food dish

I just read that Ukrainians sometimes eat their pig fat in raw form(="salo").

Salo is not exactly raw.  It is heavily salted. And it is not new.  It's been there for centuries.  And not just Ukraine, all eastern europe has salted pork belly fat.

Tyler, I'm surprised you weren't aware of this. Raw pork fat is a very common food in Eastern Europe. I have a Ukrainian friend who eats raw ground beef regularly, and he says raw pork fat is a traditional food there.
