BUGS? INSECTS?

Hey guys,

Been awhile for me on here.  Getting the curiosity to start thinking about edible insects.  However, I have no idea where to start.  I don't even know if I can purchase these or maybe have to go out in the wild and find my own.  I'm sure this has been covered on here before.

Thoughts?

One simple solution:- make high-meat as per instructions on that thread in the culinary creations forum, and leave it to air outside. The flies will lay their eggs on the meat and those eggs will then develop into juicy, live maggots.

Haha, well this sounds repulsive to me at the moment.  I like the idea of crickets a lot.  I have not tried "high-meat" yet.

Bees in wild honeycomb is delicious.
Lately once I got wild honeycomb I lost my taste for just honey.
