Help quit smoking
« on: January 03, 2018, 01:59:50 am »
My father is very addicted to cigarettes.

He wants to quit but cant because of the powerful cravings for the nicotine.

What can he do  to quit?
Pumping out units, I mean kids, aka bringing innocent beings into this ‘heavenly’ dimension of misery, suffering, struggling, pain and DEATH, WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION/CONSENT, is NOT the solution/remedy/cure for your personal problems/issues such as: boredom, poverty, selfishness, loneliness, low IQ, **megalomania, shallowness, emptiness, vanity, hero complex syndrome, narcissism, virtue signalling syndrome. Please stop being a sadist, masochist and find a more useful/constructive hobby. 😉

Some ideas:-

1)Switch from the one drug to another. All these drugs  cause addictive feelings in the brain via opioids/changing neurotransmitter levels etc. He could also go in for potentially addictive pursuits such as gambling or whatever physical or mental pursuit he excels in and gets a rush out of.

2) Take snuff instead of the cigarettes. That way, he at least avoids getting the harmful effects of the cigarette-smoke while still getting his nicotine-hit. Or he could go in for nicotine-patches on his skin.

3) Visit one of the few public areas left in major government/business buildings where smokers are allowed to smoke uninterrupted. Here in Austria, it has become illegal to smoke outside, so there is a designated large room in every major office-building/government-building  where smokers can go. I have occasionally been inside a few of these rooms, and the smoke therein is so dense and disgusting, I would imagine that it would be a great disincentive  as regards smoking.

4) Use a vaporiser on his body or put an ultrasound humidifier in his room with eucalyptus essential oil in the aromatherapy-oil tray, so as to help clear his airways of smoke-particles etc.

5) Go in for a series of water-fasts to enable the body to detox some of the smoking-derived toxins from his body.
