monocytes

ive had a blood test and my levels in everything they would allow me to be tested for are Good in everything! very happy as have been eating more meat in 2018 than all of my 40 years before that put together probably and my family and friends have been worried. but im a picture of health. been eating approx 80% raw but 95% carnivore.. now quite primal yet..

the only thing that appeared to be a little high were my Monocytes... any idea what that is or why it might be high?

Monocytes are a sign of heightened immune response, but its all too easy to blame this on a new diet. Was your monocyte count always high? Do you have allergies? Autoimmune infections? Swollen gums/gum disease?

yes! had bleeding gums for many years now... just wont go. any ideas? had a horrible tooth sorted with a Root Canal.. that caused me SOOOO much trouble... so then i told the dentist to rip the bastard outm after abcess after abcess.. nothing but misery, i left a gap there ever since... that was 7 years ago. but bleeding gums have been happening for more years than that. not sure why. how is this related to monocytes do you think? and do you know how i can sort it? thanks for info

bleeding gums are mostly due to pockets of bacteria under gum causing caustic reaction with tissues.   Getting off of carbs including fruit will most likely let them heal, as you won't be feeding the pockets the sugar which they thrive on.   You should also have your teeth cleaned with an ultra high ultra sonic tool getting all tarter off your teeth.  Ultra high ultra sonic vs. regular medium high ultra sonic is less abrasive and doesn't leave pits or small crevices that bacteria can harbor in.   Then you need to start flossing with a fuzzy floss wrapping around each tooth and gently remove all plaque each day.  You can mix one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon baking soda, and ten drops mg. chloride to about two ounces of water.  Wet out the fuzzy floss ( fuzzy holds the liquid mix ) and begin.   After each quadrant of the mouth dip the floss into the thick mixture and pull between your fingers and dip again, to clean the floss.  This method will keep your teeth VERY clean.  Rinse with salt water after eating any food. and Gently brush your teeth angling the soft bristles at a 45 degree angle to wiggle under gums. Be very gentle.  Don't use drug store tooth paste.  Keep your mouth and tongue clean throughout the day.   Get off of sugar, oh maybe I mentioned that.

Just want to add on that the implications of gum disease are overlooked, so please don't leave it unaddressed. Depending on how long you've had this for the condition can turn from a local pesky inconvenience to a full blown attack on your surrounding tooth structures. The suckers causing your inflammation have been linked to an increased risk of metabolic disorders (diabetes, heart disease, etc),thanks to their ability to induce systemic inflammation and hyper-reactivity of the immune system.Deep cleaning by the dentist is usually enough to bring the inflammation down to normal levels though. There's also evidence, albeit weak, that oral probiotics can prevent this recurring
