I think just about everything is edible but the gall bladder.

I can only get it from lamb. If anyone would remove the (yuk) lining for me it would be more palatable.

You have to power hose then scrub it, before you cut and dice it.

I really mean a hose turned on high.  The stuff in the stomach stinks.  There's stuff posted on butchery on the internet about slaughtering and preparing offal and other internal organs.

Just don't eat the bones or the skull, everything else should be fine! Mind you, some organs are best left alone - for example, I tried raw lung a few times and I was forced to chew it, unlike with other meats, and it took something like 5 minutes to chew the cartilage until I could swallow each mouthful.

i see my mom remove the lining completely using her hand. at 1st, you need knife to detect the lining, than pull gently and the lining will come out. it's very time consuming. good luck.

I got tripe from a farmer.  He must have thought poop eating when I mentioned AV, in all the good healing ways of course.  Anyway, he gave me tripe that had poopy looking grass all over it and smelled very wildly strong like poop.  Does your mom take that part off with water before she peels the lining?
