Cod liver oil breaking apart paper cup
« on: May 01, 2010, 08:58:54 am »
There is an experiment said to prove how effective a brand of cod liver oil is. Adding a dose of cod liver oil into a paper cup with hot water results in it breaking the cup apart soon afterwards, provided the oil is legit. This works for several brands, for others it doesn't. Has anyone else tried this?

Unfortunately sea food around here is outrageously expensive. It can be $9/lb American for the cheapest farmed fish at my local food store and at my whole foods.

So your body can absorb it well? Please explain a little more.

I meant capsuled cod liver oil. I don't know much about this, the reason for these results is a nutrient that is active in the more effective brands, it enables dissolving of the paper cup in the same way it's supposed to dissolve unwanted toxins in the body.

I have the same problem with fish.
