Classifying Fruits and Vegetables
« on: August 03, 2008, 04:22:38 am »
I go with this classification.

Fruits: The part of the plant that encases the seed.
Sub categories: Nuts, legumes.

Vegetables: Any other part of the plant that "does not" encase the seed. (roots, leaves, stalks etc.)

I made this up somewhat. I really think their should be some world wide excepted terming foods.

Besides the stupid grociers terming.
