Lunch Time! - Raw Beef Tapa-Taste much better
« on: June 27, 2010, 03:14:40 pm »
Here's what i had for my lunchtime a while a go.

It's beef tapa and yes, it tastes a lot better than the commercial ones.

Here's how i made this:
1. cut the beef into chewable sizes.
2. Sprinkle the sliced onions and garlic
3. Add enough amount of native sukang sasa ( from nipa palm)

By the way when I bought this raw meat, i did not wash it on our tap water.

I use sukang sasa to wash it.

Serve with tomatoes and coconut cream.

I heard from AV that coconut has: 80% FAT, 15% PROTEIN, 5% CARBOHYDRATES

Here you go!

I'll let you know how will my stomach responds to this menu...later. Ha ha ha

Good luck mates!

Hi leadahead!

Thank you for the recipe!

How did your stomach response..?  :)

Are your tomatoes unripe? They look unripe to me.
I would not eat unripe tomatoes leadhead, they have a poison in them, Solanin.. -X

I never wash my meat, by the way. Why do you do that?

Hi mates,

After eating those raw beef tapa i had some belching and late in the afternoon I had diarrhea.
I suspect it must have been the coconut cream. Ha ha ha. Lesson learned!

Anyways the diarrhea I had was not that terrible and the good thing was I had with me an enzyme supplement and that helps a lot.

I'm doing fine after that and continue eating raw meat.

Hi Inger,

Thanks for the information about tomatoes. I'll take note on that.

Whats wrong with that?  Nothing.

Meat and milk go very nicely together.

Tomatoes and meat how ever is a nono.

Tomatoes and meat how ever is a nono.

For me it's not a problem at all. But I don't do it often.

No, they don't.
That combination is forbidden not only in kosher cuisine, but also in Maasai one.
Mixing different kinds of proteins is bad - e.g. eggs with meat, meat with dairy, dairy with eggs.
Lots of people benefit from eating them separately.

Not sure if unripe tomatoes can digest well with red meat+fat+milk all raw.  I usually eat simply.  I do combine cultured raw butter with raw meat, raw pastured egg with raw organic cream, and I think for prostate problems guys can combine raw kefir with raw meat. I think the egg can help with the cream.  Otherwise meat and milk in a meal together I think cause bad body odor too.

    Leadahead, the pictures ARE beautiful.

Do the Massai eat the meat too?  I thought maybe they only drink the blood.

A lot of meat! Especially warriors who eat nothing but meat, blood and fat from the cattle.
