Working, Training, Eating, Sleeping...how?
« on: July 07, 2010, 03:58:31 pm »
I'm having problems timing all of this at the moment.

I sometimes have to exercise in the evening because of work, and some activities with other people are arranged around this like combat training.

It seems to make sense to eat after exercise to give the body protein...at least that's the standard idea.

However, when I have a raw meat and fat meal, I seem to get an energy boost between 2-4 hours afterwards and can't sleep for hours. That might be ok...but I have work early the next day.

I thought of eating in the day and training later, but think I will still need food after. This will be even more true when I start lifting weights.

What do you do about this?

What about eating your large meals in the beggining of the day and after a workout have some raw eggs.

Yeh, I've posted somewhere else and people seem to reckon it's ok to have a main meal earlier, then a snack after training...so I'll probably have a bit of muscle meat or jerky.
