Allergies/Intolerances to specific meats.

A good number of people seem to describe being intolerant to different types of meat/fats (being unable to eat beef, etc...)

Can anyone describe what animal's meat doesn't agree with them how it reacts with them?

I've found some meats that I thought were safe for me were not once I eliminated enough from my diet.
Grass-Finished Lamb/Sheep; Led to mucus in stools, indigestion, and intestinal spasms.
Grass-Finished Bison/Buffalo; Had a little of the same results but also didn't feel compelled to eat it in the least so gave that one up on instincts.
Grass-Finished Goat; Had the least negative reaction to goat meat but did notice the more frequent I ate it the more uneasy my stomach became.
Grain-Finished Beef; Gives me a sore throat, ear tickle, and runny nose almost instantly. Longer term symptoms are loose stools alternating with constipation, excess mucus, heartburn, and general malaise. Definitely the worst offender.

I eat beef/cow and venison/deer. I also eat some fish on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. :)

Was everything ok with the 100% grassfed forms?

What fish do you eat?

Should be. The lamb, bison, and goat were all from Slanker's which has never given me any problems with their beef.

I eat a 1-1.5 pound swordfish steak every other week. Sometimes I'll pick this up two weeks in a row.
I also occasionally get other fish but don't enjoy them as much.

Aren't they supposed to be 100% grassfed, seeing as they're from Slanker's?

Yup. I think they are 100% grassfed but that I had developed issues with the particular meats when my gut was so permeable. I've got other options, it's all good. ;D

All forms of the chicken species disagrees with my 2nd son.
(factory farmed, organic, home raised, native, cooked meat, eggs, fertilized eggs, raw meat, raw eggs, etc.)

So we switched to duck.

I've had a couple of food intolerance tests over the last few years and in the last one I came up as intolerant to all the land meats they tested apart from chicken - I think my gut lining was f**ked...

Since going raw I've been eating mainly grass-fed beef and fish - it doesn't seem to affect me at the time but the reactions can be delayed by several hours so I'm not sure whether it still affects me eaten raw - the lab said they test the blood sample with raw organic ingredients to avoid false readings from pesticides, hormones etc. and also it strikes me that they're testing the blood directly rather than with digested raw meat...

My feeling (hope) is that eating raw is leading to better digestion so less problems - my only concern is that eating the beef might stop the healing of the gut wall - does anyone have experience with intolerance and gut wall damage? Would it be better to avoid the beef entirely or will it heal anyway if I eat a better diet?
