I also hate eating my raw meats straight from the fridge mrz.

Personally, I put my meal in my Excalibur dehydrator for 15mins or so at low temperature.  Failing this, or if you don't have a dehydrator, I sometimes just put my prepared plate of food in the kitchen cupboard for a while to keep any flies off.  Of course, this doesn't help much (particularly in the UK!) for 3 out of our 4 seasons unless one is happy with room temperature food not too dissimilar to the fridge temperature!  :)

Has anyone considered putting it in a ziplock bag and putting it in a bowl of warm water?

I used to hate eating anything cold, and did the exact same thing with my excalibur!

Now I age everything in the fridge, it's so flavorful when I eat it, and the cold doesn't even phase me anymore.

A few years back, I was so lazy that I would often eat certain frozen meats (such as frozen kidneys/liver) that had only been outside the freezer for a short while. The ice-crystals weren't too palatable.

These days, I just pop anything in the freezer into the fridge for the day and eat it in the evening.

The Whole Foods where I used to shop sold the marrow with cellophane over it.  I would just leave it out of the fridge for an hour, then unwrap and eat the room temperature-warmed self softened marrow, no flies got on it, cause it wasn't unwrapped till I ate.  Plus they like it better when it goes bad.

I don't like plastic, but I forgot it that way a couple of times.  Otherwise I eat the marrow cold.  It didn't taste like it had anything in it, and I got no reactions.

That's funny Ioanna.  Particularly as, after many years of eating this way, I'm also finally getting around to aging experimentation with my meats.  I have a separate electronically controlled wine refrigerator which I'm in the process of converting to a meat storage cabinet.  I'm going to be using it as my only meat storage facility and will try hanging cuts of meat and offal in it at 5 deg C.  It's also fan assisted / ventilated so I have high hopes with this experiment.

Even after 10 years, I still dislike cold meats straight from the fridge but perhaps the warmer temperature of my new system will be more acceptable.

Ioanna, I will certainly keep you and the forum informed on any outcomes.  I may even provide some photos!  :)

klowcarb, I agree.  Marrow is ok from the fridge.  I think any fats, actually, are fine straight from the fridge.  I've even had a batch of particularly fatty lamb breast recently which I have been eating straight from the fridge!  Still, even marrow, I find is hugely improved by melting it at low temperature over my meats in the Excalibur!  :)  Sadly, marrow is a rare treat for me due to sourcing difficulties.

There are no flies in my house whatsoever, so I don't have to worry about them.  But when I want to keep the smell contained on some foods, I can place them on a paper plate (or a normal plate would work I guess) and then put it in a normal plastic grocery store bag, then tie the handles together in a quick, tight knot that makes the bag balloon out.  As long as there are no rips or holes in the bag, it's actually quite effectively makes an air-tight seal while still giving the food plenty of it's own air supply.  That should work with keeping the flies off, too.. and the plastic never has to touch the food.
As for warming things, I actually can't keep any of my food in the fridge or else my dad will find out I'm eating raw meat and freak out.  I keep all of my food in my room, I just bought a cooler, so that I'll be able to keep my foods longer, but I typically eat any meat I buy within 3 days without keeping it cool at all.  However, if I had a lot more meat and could keep it in the fridge, then I would just pull out everything I was going to eat the next day to let it warm up overnight.  With eggs, I always sneak a bunch of them to my room to let them warm up before I eat them, even leaving some in my room for two days before eating them.  Just try to plan ahead--don't pull out the foods to let them warm up once you're hungry, pull them out before you get hungry so that they're warm by the time you want to eat.  I don't much like any of my foods cold, especially fats which I prefer when warmer, actually I think I might even prefer the taste of it when it's cooked than raw or cold.  But of course, I can't eat it cooked, so I just go for as warm as I can get.
Hi, I'm 32, around 5'4" and ~124lb, no real significant health problems other than hyperventilating when running/exercising (that my doc said was because of the smog/asthma), fatigue, and really bad acne.
I'd preferably be a carnivore/very low carb, but I have had a very hard time finding grass-fed or even organic fats, organs, and marrow. I consume raw dairy, but I do not eat much vegetables.. however, I do love fruit.
I live with my dad, so I also have to sneak any raw meat eating.

I actually prefer to eat my meat straight from the fridge. A few days ago I put 2 kilos of sliced lean meat in a big glass container. Today I ate the last piece and than drank all the juices left in the bottom. It's incredible how wonderful it tastes (when still cold), there's nothing like it. I would pay some good money to have a big jar of it.
