Dry Skin?
« on: September 13, 2010, 12:51:03 am »
Has this diet effected anyones dry skin? I've always had dry skin but this raw diet for some reason seems to be making it worse? Has anybody else experienced this?

My experience has been exactly the opposite.  I used to have dry skin, and I don't anymore.  Are you eating enough fat?

Are you sure the skin hasn't been replaced by a new layer underneath and is shedding? Or is it just bad skin?

My skin used to be always very oily. After 1 year of RPD it's way better in this regard. But when it's hot it still gets oily though.

egg yolks and oily fish (lots of fat) are very good for dry skin. if you're completely raw eater, than try nude sunbathing. the dry condition of the skin will disappear in no time (of course, depands on your body type and immune system). skin is the main visible organ which reflects the inner health of a person. please, avoid the soap and use soft clean water for shower or avoid taking shower.

Don't worry I had a mass of skin problems before starting this diet.

I had dry, inflamed skin pre-rawpalaeo and the rawpalaeodiet cured this issue.
