Curry-style beef bowl
« on: September 21, 2010, 06:25:10 am »
This is a thing I had for dinner today and it turned out very yummi...
Chopped steak which was extremely fatty, equal amount of cut up beef heart...

The 'sauce' was made with 2 chopped mushrooms, small teaspoon of honey, small amount of apple cider vinegar, 2 raw garlic grated, cumin powder and some cayenne pepper (nice and spicay)...I couldn't finish this because the steak had so much fat I got too full ha ha...so I am going to be picking at this throughout the evening while I work.

i should put my innovative recipe where i bound my husband to feed raw meat for the 1st time of his life. after that, past one month, he's eating a pound of total muscle meat and all kinds of organs regularly in the morning before he leaves home and enjoy the entire day.

Yuli, thanks to you for this beautiful recipe and i'll make this to my husband.

Nice to see more culinary pictures!  Thanks for sharing Yuli!  I thought it looked pretty good actually.  But, the vomit comment has now made me feel sick just looking at it!  I have a weak stomach! :)

I'm sure it tasted great.  Most of my meals look quite similar to be honest although I tend to go for thinly sliced meats rather than chunks.

I don't usually add much in the way of spices these days but, when I do, I'd highly recommend a homemade, freshly ground curry powder.  I just buy whole spices, grind them in a coffee/nut grinder and mix it all together.  As I'm eating raw butter again now, this makes a good base for making a fresh, raw curry sauce!  I often using 2TBL Coriander seeds, 2TBL cumin seeds, 1 desert spoon ground turmeric, 1/2 tsp black mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper plus grated fresh garlic and ginger.  Cardamom pods also make a nice addition.
1. When offered something that is too good to be true. It is.
2. Greed and fear are poor states of mind in which to make decisions; like shopping at the supermarket when you are hungry.
3. Exponential growth is mathematically unsustainable.
