Dunno, but I'm not sure about pastured pork...pigs are omnivores so I think they have to feed them something as well as grass...so what are they feeding them?

Some places use acorns which fatten them up nicely.

I also doubt any pigs are 100% grass-fed, that would take forever to get the pig to get to a slaughtering weight so which farmer would want to do that, for them time is money too. I read most of them are supplemented with corn.

Do you blame vultures for the carcass they eat?

I'm buying from slankers:

http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com/id78.htm

they say they do not feed any grains (including corn).

" Most of what they eat is grass, forbes, and leaves of trees.  But they also eat grubs, roots, acorns, berries, fruits (acorns, berries, and fruits are strickly seasonal), eggs, critters of all kinds, and about anything else they come across in the pastures and woods where they live."

if you look over the website, the supplier (ted slanker) seems to highly value truly grass-fed meat, and makes a big deal about it online. He prescribes to a cooked paleo diet.

Also the beef and bison I have ordered from him have been the best tasting I have tried other than fresh. So I have reason to believe his pigs really are on the diet he says.

Thats cool a87 ... but that guy is like one in a million, if I lived in your area I'd buy stuff from him. But its a limited supply )=
I remember in Russia my family's friends had pigs, they lived in an open pen (not free-range outside) but they were fed a mix of everything, I remember the guy would dump a buckets of food for them which looked like a mix of potatoes, left-overs, leftover meat, old vegetables, soup and really EVERYTHING lol they were fatter but they sure didn't just eat corn.
Unfortunately besides this guy you mentioned I can't find any pigs that are not just fed grains )=
