'Type-writer' Effect
« on: November 04, 2010, 01:19:38 pm »
Does anyone know about this, what causes it..? It wasn't always like this, was it? After I've written a certain number of lines, I can no longer see what I've typed. This makes it impractical to review properly and I lose my train of though, whatever I type after that comes out as gibberish.

Type it somewhere else, then copy/paste.  Darn new and improved broswers.

If this is in your browser only, re-install or update it and restart computer that may fix it.

ok. I thought it was universal across this forum as I think Kurite or someone replied previously that they had the same effect. =/ Yeah actually I never used to have it but I just realised that it's been since I reformatted my PC. I'm now using Internet Explorer, whereas previously I had been using Google Chrome.

I don't have it either on Firefox. Give another browser a shot and see if it still does it.

Its good you went back to Chrome, IE is slowest, most clunky and awkward browser, everyone should switch to Firefox and Chrome.
Chrome is nice because of its clean simple interface and its speed.
Firefox is great because it has many advanced features and plugins that Chrome does not yet have, so its power gives it advantage.
Internet Explorer belongs in the trash.
I use Chrome to browse the net, and Firefox for website work and other advanced stuff  8)

Yeah I've used firefox for years. IE9 is pretty sick though... all it's missing is a password manager.
