Your Top 10 Worst fruit

I thought this was somewhat off topic maybe.

Make a list of the 10 worst fruit in your opinion. Or fruit you could do without. 1 being the worst.
Just go by instinct. Inclides domesticated fruit, organic, and wild.

Only considering the fruit eatin alone and whole. Imagine the last fruit you would buy if you had a choice of any.
Based on taste and natural instinct.

Some of th fruits on the list are tasty to me at times. But only when nothing else is around.

All tropical fruits. Some are "less worse", but I don't thrive on most. I like raw berries most  of all.

mostly going on taste here, not quality of nutrition (some of these fruits I guess are good for you). if I factored in that, fruits I like to eat by taste - like bananas and seedless grapes and oranges and dates, mangos, kiwis etc.. for sure would be on it too.

Similar with me Tyler. I am very fond of fresh berries like blackberries, raspberry etc.

I have mild allergies to citric fruit, pineapple and wild grapes.

Whao KD interesting list. I have never tried some of those. I also love some of what you named. Blackberry, cactus pear (dom.)

Cranberries man, I was thinking they're healthy, but this is about taste!! I almost ahd them on my list. But I remembered I really like them when they age and get soft. LOL

I like blackberries and think they are high up on the quality list, but its hard to get good ones commercially (or even organic) that don't taste kinda funky. I would choose any other berry (by taste) including avocado over blackberries, but yeah, would rather eat them over bananas for nutrition. Never taken to cactus pear -eck- but again probably fairly natural as far as today's fruits go. If I buy a small pint of cranberries, I literally cannot force myself to finish it without getting taste-sick, even in multiple attempts!

Had some graoefruit yesterday, its was actually very pleasent. But I had to take off all the skin and white bitter membrain or else I will get a headache.

Grapefruits were the worst and the best fruits I ever had, it really matters which one.
Most pink grapefruits taste like shit, some are bitter or too sour or no taste at all...some are just OK....

However try and find some good, organic, WHITE grapefruits, fuckin divine fruit!

EDIT: oh and my fave fruit of all time.....RUSSET apples, omg, the little hard ones that look like dirty potatoes, sweet, sour, hard, juicy, tarty everything you want in a fruit.

i never liked grapefruit from the store, but when i would visit my grandparents we would pick the grapefruit from their tree minutes before we ate... that grapefruit was really good!!!

now that i think about it, there are lots of fruits i never liked growing up here, but in italy it was like a whole new food.. i was like 'oh, that's what that is supposed to look/taste like'.

by the farm I lived by there was these -basically wild - pomelo trees.probably planted by people but unkempt for years. those were intensley juicy, without the spikes of watermelon or whatever. big too. I like grapefruit actually, but yeah depends. I think both pink and white can be good but usually have a bit of nasty aftertaste for me even with a great experience. I prefer white too generally I guess.

The skin looks rough and dirty so they remind me of potatoes.

Remember when the apple is small-medium, hard enough so that you can almost kill someone with it, and the skin looks dirty no matter how much you wash it, it will be a GOOD apple 

Come to think of it, if I had to choose only 3 plants foods to eat for the rest of my life, it will probably be Russet apples, potatoes, and cabbage! Just those 3 can provide all the planty goodness I need besides eating all the animal stuff.

Russets are the BEST apples in fact probably the only ones I can eat.

There's a good book called "The Botany of Desire". Amoungst other things, it gives the history of apples, Johny Appleseed. The origins of apples is Afghanistan or one of those 'istan countries. Basically all breeds of apples are propagated by grafting and can be traced back to one tree somewhere because apple trees produce  all kinds of varieties in each tree.

Is there a reason citrus fruits and grapefruit are toping the list at being so evil?

I like almost any fruit if the Brix is high enough. That pretty much guarantees that it will taste great and have high nutrition.

I rarely eat grapes--they usually have lots of pesticides, and it's easy to overeat them and have a digestion issue happen. I like the taste of high-brix grapes, though.

I have never liked eggfruit (canistel).  It's too dry.

The only kind of citrus that is usually high-Brix (that I can find in my local grocery stores) is the Honey Tangerine. Everything else is pretty average or worse, Brix, taste, and nutrition-wise.

i try to avoid most fruits because they are too sugary. i dont like apples, oranges, and the like because they are too acidic. melons and cantaloupes i dont care much for.
berries have a good taste though. i like cherries best. the red ones.
