Herings Law goes along the lines that when you are healing you heal fom the inside out eg. vital organs heal first and the skin last and you heal from the top to bottom.
At the moment I've got a white patch of candida coming out of where my appendix is in my body. It started off as ringworm and has now turned white and flaky. Recently scientists have been saying that the appendix is where the good bacteria live and that its not just a vestigial organ? mine must of been full of yeast.
Since going raw carnivore I've had eczema flare ups also owing to candida infection, thanks to advice from GoodSamaritan he told me I was allowed to itch, so i've had weeping so bad that i've had change clothes half way through the day a few times. This was good advice. The flare ups are reducing in number to the point now where they are minor and the skin is becoming nice and soft! This is another example of Hering's Law.
This healing process is going to be a long long journey but I'm so very very committed.
I don't know about that, Andrew. I think the easiest to heal areas heal first, then the more deeply rooted toxins in organs and whatnot heal last. I say this with experience short-term (up to 5 days) fasting. I got eye sties, white tongue, mucoid plaque (Oh God, I should post my image somewhere members only) and probably haven't gotten deep enough to get the results you are. I do believe your appendix are is perhaps healing from the inside to the out, but somethings can heal via blood to urine/feces too. So it is probably more complex.
Three months for you now carnivore. Would you mind posting your food choices in your journal sometime? It's brilliant to read of your exercise achievements, and you have written a bit on food, but I'd like to have amounts and meal times (pain in the butt I am, I know). I'll have to comment on your progress on the journal thread, too.
