I have read there A LOT of fat soluble vitamins in liver so it is best to eat with raw egg yolks or another form of raw fat.

No there isn't enough if you are going to eat it by itself.

I think for most people, they don't need fat with it.  I think it has enough carbohydrates to replace the fat (fuel-wise).  For other people though I've seen need stuff like bone marrow fat, raw grassfed butter and raw sour-cream with it, like four times as much fat sometimes by quantity, and less than half of that the sour-cream.  Of course dairy is not paleo though.

Liver from healthy land mammals is usually very low in fat.

Extended "mono-diets" on liver is therefore impossible, imo.
However, one or two days should be no problem.

There is really small amounts of fat in liver.
So it's good to eat it with some animal fat. Every kind of raw animal fat is good.
Btw, 2 days ago I ate the fat from the spinal cord (from cow) - so delicious. :)
Do you blame vultures for the carcass they eat?
