Egg with 2yolks?

Is it safe to eat a double yolked egg? wtf is this I found 2 eggs like that today?????
The eggs are big maybe they do something to their chickens that they give eggs like that?

the one egg was with seperated yolks the second egg the yolks were merged??
Gay chickens?  :D

No worries mate, I run a pastured farm with the most amazing eggs you've ever seen, strictly organic, soy, antibiotic and hormone free.  It's not terribly uncommon to see eggs with 2 or 3 yolks in them. I'm not sure what causes this but if it happens here on our completely natural truly free range farm then it's probably not cause for concern, on the contrary, a couple extra yolks is a good thing!

I've seen eggs specifically labelled as double-yolk for sale at farmers markets, they're more expensive than single-yolk eggs. These were from free-range hens, not fed any chemicals or funny things.

When they sort the eggs into large,med,small, they probably also have a way to separate out the double-yolk ones.

I eat only organic eggs and I find double yolks very very rarely.
But they're safe to eat, for sure.
