Aside from the fun aspect which I understand, as one Yogi I know said "No self-respecting yogi would do this stuff as it clearly has sexual overtones".

I am curious as to the benefit of this.

I understand and respect his position raw-al, but it just is not mine.
To me it looks like a great way to bond with your significant other, if they like yoga.

That's understandable. As long as she doesn't slip...

Iyengar did a bit of that years ago in some of his books.

It's important that you do acroyoga with someone you really trust and ensure that you're both safe by using proper yoga equipment.

Contrary to popular belief, however, you can actually do acroyoga alone.
