anyone have any experience supplementing with royal jelly?

I have taken royal jelly supplements in the past. In my pre-RPD stage I would buy tons of heated/processed royal jelly capsules which gave me some instant energy due to the sugar-levels therein. Then, in the first few years of going rawpalaeo, I found a genuine source of raw(well freeze-dried) royal jelly which gave me even more instant energy. However, it did not seem to do much in the admittedly rather short time I took it and tasted rather foul. Really raw royal jelly costs a bomb - oh and keep it in the freezer as it doesn't last long otherwise.

gotta agree with you there, i just got in some raw freeze dried royal jelly and the taste was pretty rank for shure!

Bumping this here, anyone with more recent experiences? Have a source for fresh royal jelly that is quite affordable. Have never tried it.

bought it directly from bee farmers freezers, no results.
