Just arrived
« on: September 19, 2008, 09:57:36 pm »
Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and I'm just arrived.
I read and learned a lot on the rawpaleodiet yahoo forum, but never wrote.
Now I decided to join actively the share my experience.

I follow a paleodiet that was cooked and became raw since almost 1 year ago.

I am an amateur cyclist and I follow a scheme that follows what L. Cordain suggests in his "The paleo diet for athletes" book in raw style (he doesn't give any suggestions re cooking) and adding saturated fats (that he suggests to avoid).

In this way I feel and perform good.

Luigi
Bye bye

Thank you Satya.

Well my eating plan in this period is something like this:

breakfast: vegetable juice, some fruit (cantaloupe now) and raw butter, then a mix of 3 raw eggs, some died grinded cocnut and some time released protein powder

lunch: a mixed salat (carrot, salad, olives, artichokes) with some tuna or some slices of roast-beef

dinner: raw meat (cow heart or pork/cow/sometimes chiken or turkey breast), raw vegetables with lard, sometimes raw cheese

If I am hungry during the day I usually snack with fruit (at present I don't snack)

My present training plan is: monday to tuesday at tthe gym (aerobic or weight training)
friday nothing
saturday long bike ride
sunday short bike ride

But I come from a month and a half of relax (holydays  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D)

Bye bye

Luigi

Welcome aboard Luigi.  The RawPaleo forum on Yahoo is a wonderful forum and I think you'll find this community is right up there with the best as well.  Our members are from diverse backgrounds with interests that are just as varied.  Even though this community is built around our common interest in raw paleo diets, one thing is certain - you'll find no shortage of opinions regardless of the subject matter.
