I have my own way of doing it. If I eat cooked food and have a reaction I take some triphala. I have amy own brand which is very high quality unlike the low grade stuff you get in Indian corner stores or health food stores.
Another way of cleaning out very gently, is to take one or two teaspoons of Castor oil before bedtime. In the AM you will have a normal movement which may be softer than usual. You can do this as many days as you wish. It will not harm you. Not sure I would get carried away with it. The taste will prevent that anyways.
