Even though Mercola is a salesman he's probably got the nitty gritty on aging and what would combat it. I remember him talking about longevity spirals/coils in an article long ago but would have no idea how to retrieve it now, I think it was related to aging though. I bet if you key worded 'aging' in his search engine you'd get some good results. Most of Mercola's products IMO are bullshit, but the info he provides is gold by and large. I've learned sooo much from his articles and newsletters. Just sift through it and weed out the bullshit.

You might also google longevity spirals or coils, can't remember the term exactly but it was something to the effect that certain stimuli cause these coils to shorten and they're related to longevity and I would assume, aging.

You might also look in to monatomic gold. I've been learning about the Annunaki who supposedly came here looking for gold to repair their atmosphere but it also helps with longevity and/or aging. Can be gotten from certain foods.

For more supple skin you might consider raw cartilage/collagen from pastured animals. I try to eat some whenever it's avilable, from joints of what is sold as soup bones or from oxtail.

I'd certainly like to know too! I want nice, elastic skin when I'm 60 and 70.

A reasonable amount of sun is pretty important too I think. Not too much, not too little.

Anthony Anderson AKA the Raw Model might shed some light, dude is 30 but to me looks like he's in his early 20's. Cool fella, from my neck of the woods here in MN. He's no vegan and likes his pastured animal foods though I'm not sure how much raw meat he's in to. Inspiring guy!

Well turns out the sulphurous foods like raw eggs can help to reverse aging, at least according to Merc.

Hey LCO - Thanks for the all the leads. I'm going to look into every one of them - but just had to tell ya that the first thing I got when I googled Mercola and longevity was a panel of dudes talking and every one of them except one was gray and or bald and the one that wasn't didn't look all that great. I think I look better/healthier/younger than every guy on the panel!

One exception to going further with your suggestions is that I'm going to not research the guy in his 30's - all the way through my thirties I looked like I was in my early 20's too - and have known lots of people into their 40's that looked much younger too. When someone is in their 60's and above and looks like they're in the 20's - that's when I'll really believe that they know how to stop or reverse aging.

When I was in my 20's I had a friend in her mid-50's that looked like she was still in her twenties too. She told me it was because she used fresh aloe on her skin. I just remembered that! I could start there and keep on researching. I guess I should have listened back then - but such things didn't matter much to me back then. I'll keep on looking for people that walk their talk and look their walk......... and have been walking a good long while in the same direction. ;)

That telomerase link was fascinating. I've heard of it before and looks like they are making progress - but still something that will be at least a decade or two before we know if anything really will come of it. I for one am not even going to contemplate taking any drug that might turn on telomerase because just about every drug can have long-term serious side-affects. I sure would love to go 50 years into the future in my time machine and see how that works out!

I know what you mean. IIRC, Mercola acknowledged some time ago that the version of very low carb diet he was doing didn't work out for him in the long run and did some damage. He has since added so-called "safe starches" to his diet, in part apparently per the advice of Paul Jaminet. I think Mercola said he was doing better, though it's true that he still doesn't present an "ideal" image. Another factor is I think the artificial tanning he does gives him an odd, artificial look.

I'm thankful that there aren't any raw Paleo celebrity gurus advising everyone what to do and then having to retract the advice years later. I wish the gurus would wait something like ten years or so before telling everyone what to do, or at least add lots of caveats about it depends on the individual and such, like some more responsible ones do.
