Hi, healthy-food lovers,
I began actively fighting to keep raw milk on store shelves in 1971 when
California State government health officials began another campaign to
rob us of our raw-milk access and freedom. For me, drinking raw milk was
not merely a choice of the richest and most flavorful food on the planet
but a matter of life and death. When I did not have it, I suffered so
much more. After the radiation treatments deteriorated the bone around
my teeth and my teeth dangled in my gums and I bleed from them almost
constantly, drinking raw milk restored the bone around my teeth within
one year. That was unheard of.
During that year, the state had deprived us of raw milk with a bogus
raw-milk bacterial scare. For more than one month, I suffered greatly,
at least 3 times more without raw milk. That was when I realized how
important raw milk was to me getting well. During the next 3 decades, I
fought with millions of Californians to preserve raw milk on our store
shelves and homes. In 1998, when Dr. Warner of California health
department and his minion M.D.s on the Medical Milk Commissioners
board,tried to thrust the final plunge into raw-milk freedom and kill
it. The commissioners had effective made raw milk certification so
difficult that raw milk only passed inspection 51% of the time. It
bankrupt our only major raw dairy. I pledge to our raw milk freedom
fighters to wage a campaign that would win.
I sought the counsel and help of Raymond Novell, the biological attorney
who had successfully defended that raw-milk producer for decades. He
told me that I was fighting a losing battle. He had fought the
unscientific and irrational health departments for decades using his
500-pages biological and statistical arguments in favor of raw milk. He
stated that we were at the new millennium of corporate control through
government and raw milk would not survive. He said that the opposition
had planned and forged their way federally, stately and locally so well
that they would win and we would lose, including our rights to good
health. I read his document. It was overwhelming. I could see that a
non-biologist would not understand it and be afraid to make any decision
based on it. They had to be as genius as Mr. Novell. They were not.
I realized that for our legislatures must understand our research and
the innate safety of raw milk. I had to write in language they could
understand. I recruited Dr. Douglass, MD to help me. I wrote the
49-pages Report In Favor of Raw Milk for Dr. Douglass with 80% of his
research and 20% of mine. I wrote the 3-pages Executive Summary to that
document which stated the legal ramifications if the Los Angeles County
Board of Supervisors deprived us of our milk. I got 2 ex-senators to
hand deliver the documents to each supervisor.
Ninety-nine raw-milk drinkers showed for the rally for the Supervisors'
votes to vote to keep raw milk controlled by the Commissioners or deem
it safe enough to follow standard Grade A and Guaranteed raw milk
regulations. The vote was 4-5 in favor of our right to raw milk without
certification. That was a tremendous win for raw milk because it
eliminated the Medical Milk Commission. There was no more need to
certify raw milk because it was understood by our Supervisors with the
Report In Favor Of Raw Milk that raw milk was innately safe.
No longer did the Commissioners who were mostly doctors determined to
ban raw milk control our raw milk. After the vote, Raymond Novell shook
my hand and would not let it go for several minutes, thanking me for my
abilities and accomplishment saving raw milk in Los Angeles and
California. I have continued to pool farmers and raw milk drinkers
together under Right To Choose Healthy Food.
Fast forward to now. There is nothing more sinister than a food-club
manager and a pseudo-farmer corrupting a food-club and its members with
toxic commercially acquired product and selling it to its trusting and
innocent members as better-than organically grown on a farm they claim
was our food-club family farm. That is how James Stewart and Sharon
Palmer sold members on buying the Healthy Family Farm, including
seducing Larry Otting into financing the farm. Most of you already know
the details of those two seriously conscience-deficient and malicious
people. Basically, they infiltrated the healthy-food freedom movement
with their greed and corruption and poisoned the members with toxic
commercial food, everything we work so hard to avoid.
This week, the self-named "Health Ranger" Mike Adams has joined their
ranks of corruption to destroy our healthy food movement with a vicious
character-bashing campaign against me. He has attacked my HONORARY
doctorate bestowed on me by the defunct Richmonds University. It seems
that some sinister people are using the defunct university to forge
diplomas for profit and fraud. He has compared mine with counterfeits.
Because there are some counterfeits does not mean that all are
counterfeits but that is his tactic. Rather than researching thoroughly,
he has chosen to ignore proper research and reporting protocol and act
as the sensational tabloids act without regard to truth and understanding.
Because of the way Mike Adams is systematically executing his
character-bashing to invalidate my work and plight to rid of us
food-freedom-abusing people like James Stewart and Sharon Palmer, he has
crossed over to show his real nature. We now know that he must be an
agent to harm our right to healthy food. If you listen to his
commentaries, you will notice that he does not approach the entire issue
of evidence that Palmer and Stewart bought commercial food and sold it
to food-club members as organic and grown on the family farm. Is Mike
Adams truly a government and/or corporate mole? With the vehemence of
his rhetoric, he is doing nothing but defending criminals and bashing
me. He argues my credentials and laboratory tests and if they are what
is important rather than freedom.
I suggest that all of us who are truly involved in preserving and
reclaiming our rights to healthy food not be sidetracked by such
ravings. Look at the information logically.
