smoking vs cooked food
« on: June 20, 2012, 04:15:56 am »
http://www.waiworld.com/waidiet/wd-smoking.html

apparently cooked food has way more toxins in it than smoked cigarettes. Perhaps thats why I have no noticeable problems from smoking pot (which most peoples "logic" says would be worse) yet eating cooked food or even drinking a hot tea can give me clearly noticeable negative effects within 20 minutes.

Whenever I tell people I smoke pot instead of eating it in cooked edibles because it felt healthier they all thought I was crazy. Now I have science to back up my instinctual feeling.

Heat produced toxins in smoke=much less damaging than heat produced toxins in your food.

one time i did nothing but vaporize for about a week. At the end of it I was left with the worst cough iv ever had that lasted for weeks because it dried out my throat so much in a way that would never happen no matter how much I smoked.

I know the vapor caused this. I never get a problem like this from smoking. Also I dont get as high when vaping.

Hi Troll,  interesting - I wondered about the same thing re non-organic food, that the amount of chemicals tiny compared to the huge numbers of harmful chemicals from cooking.

How often do you like to get stoned?

i used to wake and bake when I didnt really have anything to do during the day. Now when I go to work I just wait till im done to get stoned so usually dont smoke till at least late afternoon. I dont think it makes me work worse (makes me better in some cases) I just think its a waste of pot to smoke during work. Its more of an idle time thing for me which I enjoy more if i get to just relax and enjoy it.

A wake and bake still does occur every once in a while though.

I find that my most heavy days of smoking were due to a medical need. Id often wake up nauseous and a wake and bake would completely fix that. Now I never wake up nauseous thanks to proper nutrition.
