Pattern: The Best Paleo Meats are "Endangered"
« on: June 26, 2012, 09:40:04 am »
Now that we are maturing paleo dieters, i've noticed the current conventional wisdom/idiocy will always state that a preferred nutritious animal food is always endangered, dwindling, too pollutive or too cute and pet like they want you to stop eating it.

"They" despise humans for eating:

Horse, deer, wild pig, tuna, whale, seal, elephant, dog, turtles, oysters, clam... Now they want you to stop eating all ocean life... Because its allegedly all got mercury... So they dont want you eating fish brains...

Think of other animals they dont want you to eat or have become extinct.  Those may be the tastiest and most nutritious animals.

yes, we can clearly see this pattern in the industrial agriculture model.  it also fits into the same thinking that everything wild (read:more natural)  is also harmful, lesser, dirty, uncivilized, weird, etc.

There's plenty overpopulated yet nutrituous animals I would gladly eat. Also I haven't heard of any endangered insects caused by hunting.

Which overpopulated animals?

- sea lions?
- penguins?

Yeah insects

- tried live ants eggs
- crickets I ate cooked
- baby bees must be good because the tribes people who gather wild honey eat it for themselves and never sell it.
