Journal of an acne and dermatitis sufferer
« on: July 01, 2012, 04:36:56 pm »
Hello everyone, i have finally decided to go raw paleo. I have suffered from moderate acne on back/shoulders/face for 7 years and severe dermatitis for 2 years. I have scars from this skin affliction. The scars hurt. Hopefully i can put an end to this disease.

I am going to be ordering all my meats first thing in the morning (it is 2 in the morning atm). I will be ordering them from the following website: http://www.grasslandbeef.com/Categories.bok?category=Grassland+Beef

I will also purchase some meat at a local farmers market on saturdays (Deydey best beef).

I hope this cures me of my skin problems so that i can maybe live a normal life. I know there are people who have diabetes, headaches, etc etc but i honestly think skin problems that are moderate to severe in nature are the worst. You look like a monster, and everyone treats you like one.

If you guys have any suggestions, i am all ears.

Wish me luck.

Diet is a big part of the cure.
But there are many other things beyond diet.

For short-term relief of the dermatitis, have you tried OTC hydrocortisone cream?

How is your skin condition now?
"In the modern, prevailing view of the cosmos, we sit here as tiny, unimportant specks of protoplasm, flukes of nature, and stare out into an almost limitless void. Vast, nameless tracts of emptiness dominate the scene. Talk about feeling small.
But we do not look out at the universe; it is, instead, within us, as a rich 3-D visual experience whose location is the mind" - R. Lanza, Beyond Biocentrism.

Please help me figure out my backne issue. It’s so embarrassing. What should I start with first diet or products? Or both?

I would try juicing fresh fruits and veggies for about a week, drinking at least 16 oz a day. If that doesn't help, try low-carb/high-fat for about a week. One of those is likely to work. If they don't, you can also try fermented Really Raw Honey. Don't do all of these at once, though. They need to be tried separately, because acne can have different causes in different people.
