To all of us stateside, Happy Thanksgiving!
What are you doing for dinner tonight?  ;)

I haven't logged in two days and I come back to find an unbelievable amount of unread posts!!
While that is wonderful, man it's gonna take a while to catch up! Probably not til I get back to school from break (I'm at my parents' house right now)

Right back at ya. I'm having dinner with my girlfriend's family and will eat normal Thanksgiving fair. I see one day not partaking but at this point I'd rather just not make any waves and sit there not eating or eating something to radically different than everyone else.

Yes, happy day to all!

We don't celebrate holidays, and have no family gatherings to attend, so we hiked in the woods with the dog and plan to try bison cutlets for supper. It's just been nice having my husband home for a few days.

I gave turkey to our cats.  I'm not cooking today.  My spouse here and also my child living at home here are both cooked vegans.  We're 'hiking' over to a gourmet vegan restaurant.  I'm going to have a salad and several grapefruit juices.

    Thank you everyone!

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving  :)

I ended up not having any turkey (I would have had some cooked turkey if it was organic even, but it wasn't) but I did have boiled wild alaskan king crab legs and boiled peas. the crab was soooo good

and then a little bit of vanilla ice cream and berries for dessert  :D

I was invited to have the traditional turkey dinner with a friend's family, so I went ahead and cut loose on all the usual stuff: turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pie, etc... I had been 100% raw for a little over 2 months, and I was curious to see how I'd react. I was a little surprised that it was no big deal at all. I really felt quite fine afterwards, but then, I wasn't really experiencing any difficulties eating cooked food before going raw.
