Kidney cleansing?
« on: November 19, 2012, 01:35:31 am »
Hey guys,

Trying to do some mild kidney cleansing lately.  Anybody know some fairly gentle methods?  Currently I am just using a few herbs in tincture form and doing some reflexology on the feet.  Diet suggestions?  I need protein right now for healing I just don't want to overload the kidneys either.  I feel that rare/raw meat does not have the same effect as in bogging down the organs as fried/cooked stuff.

Take them out and and use a Kärcher high pressure washing equipment.

Cause and effect are distant in time and space in complex systems, while at the same time there’s a tendency to look for causes near the events sought to be explained. Time delays in feedback in systems result in the condition where the long-run response of a system to an action is often different from its short-run response. — Ronald J. Ziegler

Iguana.. lol

Maybe try to eat some raw kidneys? IDK but I sure feel how eating raw heart heals my heart so it might be the same with kidneys?
It is logical that the particular organ have the nutrients your organ needs too I think?
And herbs for sure. But the herbs are easy to look up I guess.. if not I could check out for you I have some good books about them.

how about nourish them instead of cleanse them?  make sure you are eating a full spectrum of amino acids, not just muscle meat.  kidneys need a lot of vitamin c. try rose hips tea, dandelion tea is good too, burdock, parsley.  there are tons of herbs to help the kidneys, i am interested to know what is in your tinctures, some can be really strong and perhaps cause irritation like gravel root.  i would go for gentle herbs and focus on healing instead of cleansing.

I second that. Make sure youre adequetly nourished and your foods are raw. Another thing to consider is the microbe environment in your gut. Make sure youre absorbing everything you eat.

Things I've done:

Eat only water melon for an entire day.

Eat only young coconuts (both the meat and the water) for an entire day... or even 3 days.

Diluted orange juice fast for 3 days.

Make avocado leaves tea and drink 1.5 liters 5pm to 9pm for up to 3 days.

In my experience, it is the temporary cessation or minimization of protein consumption... and the intake of special foods or herbs that help cleanse and help the kidneys rest and regenerate.

I eat a well-varied diet.  Honestly, I think sometimes I don't eat quite enough to fuel myself but am working on that.  I eat organ meat here and there as well as fermented CLO, raw butter, etc.  I think the problem was that I just needed something to get through some blockages and get things moving again.  In the tincture, let's see: red clover, dandelion, burdock, turmeric, milk thistle, hydrangea, uva ursi, and chanca piedra (stone breaker).  It's for kidneys and liver.

Hello good Samaritan,
What special foods or herbs,do you suggest, that help cleanse and help the kidneys rest and regenerate?
