Horrible digestion issues
« on: January 27, 2013, 05:08:32 am »
Okay so my stomach has been horrible for the past 3 or 4 days. It feels like its inflated and I can never deflate it. My skin is cleared up and I felt great until this paralyzing discomfort got here. What do I do?  -[

What have you been eating those past few days and at what time?

Try to avoid mixing too many different foods in the stomach. A sweet fruit digest fine with one or two other sweet fruits but generally not with meat or vegetables. Veggies (including tomatoes and avocados which are botanically fruits) digest fine together. Avoid mixing different animal foods in the same meal : if you eat wild boar, don't eat beef, fish or eggs at the same meal.

If you eat nuts, choose the kind you like best at the moment. If it is  hazelnuts for example, don't eat pecans or walnuts at the same meal. If your still hungry after the nuts, you can choose a vegetable or two.

The more different foods you ingest at the same meal the more difficult your digestion work will be.

PS: Sorry, I failed to notice this is in "Carnivorous - Zero Carb" section, then not for me!

Cause and effect are distant in time and space in complex systems, while at the same time there’s a tendency to look for causes near the events sought to be explained. Time delays in feedback in systems result in the condition where the long-run response of a system to an action is often different from its short-run response. — Ronald J. Ziegler

Alright, before finding raw paleo I had found the mixing diet. It did make me feel much better, but just not good enough. But I really did think 'hey there's probably something to the whole 'no mixing' idea'. I'll be sure to be strict about it now :)

If you could tell us what you've been eating it would help. Do you have any food receipts you can look at?
Disclaimer: I was told I was misdiagnosed over 10 years ago, and I haven't taken any medication in over a decade.

where in your stomach is the pain? Is it on the right side under your ribcage? Have you been eating a lot of fat?
