Extremely Bloated
« on: January 28, 2013, 10:20:17 am »
Today after eating 3 raw egg yolks for breakfast and some raw scallops later on, I began getting very bloated. Now the bloating is ridiculous and Im SO uncomfortable. I feel awful. So irritable and angry. What am I doing wrong?

Didn't you say plant foods bloat you? It seems like everything's making you bloated.
Disclaimer: I was told I was misdiagnosed over 10 years ago, and I haven't taken any medication in over a decade.

Raw egg yolks seem to be the only thing working for me right now

Poncho,
There is generally a bit of a period of adjustment which might take anywhere from a few days to a few months.

Some others may have some transitional foods that work better than others.

I felt a bit tired for awhile as my body adjusted to the diet. I ate cooked vege for 23 yrs before.
Cheers
Al

the sulphur in egg yolks can cause bloating if you are eating more then your body needs to absorb.

are you drinking plenty of water and getting enough electrolytes?  that should help flush out the system.  also be sure you are eating plenty of calories.

Nono eggs yolks are the only thing that DOESNT make me bloated. I drink lots, only water and a bit of kombucha

But yes the adjustment period thing really seems to fit. Im just worried because its all new and no one can really tell you exactly what to expect.
