Plaque balls in throat
« on: July 09, 2013, 12:57:04 am »
It's tough to describe, but they build up in the pockets of my tonsils. I still have them, but I notice as I cut down carbs, the inflammation in my tonsils shrinks, and the balls are becoming fewer. Possibly a sign of candida die off.

Personal note: this may be something that would redirect me to a future life of carnivory, as they have started to come back stronger after reintroducing carbs.

Per request I'll post pics. It would be a picture of the back of my throat and one of the balls on my finger. The stink is awful too.

It's just food particles get stuck in the pockets.

Simply clean them and that would be all.

I don't see how to clean them other than shoving my finger down my throat constantly.

My mum and brother had these when they went zero carb. They also had very bad breathe, is it really food because food would go down pretty quick.

I think it it;s candid but not totally sure.

Ya, I'm leaning towards a yeast that dries up in those pockets.

It is definitely rotten food particles that's why it smells so bad.  When I had mine long time ago I went to the doc and he removed it using tweezers and said it's just food gets stuck in there.  Some people have deeper pockets some not so much.
