Infected Root Canal

Ten years ago I had a root canal procedure without knowing the dangers of them. I had mine checked recently and surprise, surprise, it's infected.

I've increased my intake of spring water to help flush out toxins, and eat as much fat as possible. I have a consultation with a holistic dentist soon about getting rid of this tooth and detoxing. Does anyone have any advice for this?

I don't think it's possible to completely heal an infected root canal tooth,, (without retreatment )  you can keep it at bay, but the source of infection is not accessible to the body's immune response, because it's inside the tooth.    If you retreat it, have the dentist clean out and heavily dissenfect all canals, and leave a high ph material inside of canals for at least two weeks.  This should kill all the bad bacteria hiding in the miles of tubules.   Also try to find an endodontist who uses ozone to further dissenfect and one that's familiar with light cured epoxy type root canal filling materials, as opposed to gutta percha,  which ultimately shrinks and allows leakage to occur.      YOu might also look into removing the tooth and have an implant placed right then.   But then you really need to research and make sure that dentist knows what they're doing.

I guess you are aware of the danger ie the fact that teeth are all on acupuncture meridians and therefore will mess with far flung organs etc. First of all the tooth in question should be compared with meridian charts to see which organs will be affected.

Aside from dentistry if you know of anyone with a Rife machine you may have a chance that this can kill the infection.

Personally since going raw my dental issues have evaporated. No pain, no problems. If I fall off the wagon and eat any unraw sweets or other such bad ideas like soft drinks, (incredibly rare) I feel the pain. Brushing my teeth is also a bad idea.

BTW I have heard bad things about implants in that they conduct electricity and may cause other issues.

I had all the silver amalgam removed and the mercury free dentist did it properly.

I'm not considering retreating the tooth, it was a very odd tooth to begin with, having an extra cuspid on the side of it. During the initial treatment the oral surgeon left it open for a long time while she waited for two specialists to come in and give their opinion on how to finish the procedure. They couldn't decide if the extra cuspid had its own blood supply coming from the jaw or if it was getting blood from the tooth. When I went back to my own dentist to replace the temporary filling it started to leak blood everywhere. I had to go back to the oral surgeon and she had to reopen it to finish the job.

I have no idea how long it's been infected for and I don't trust that anyone alive today fully understands teeth and the central nervous system, and especially not this strange example. My current dentist can't tell by xray what material the surgeon used to fill it, he says it looks like amalgam but the edges are so straight he can hardly believe it is. That material is deep in the tooth and whatever it is I'm sure it isn't biocompatible.

The dentist I'm consulting in about a week uses ozone among other substances, and has a rife machine he says he's able to eradicate infection with. This dentist is very knowledgeable so I'll talk to him about an implant, I'm sure he uses ceramic or something that won't conduct much electricity.

currently there are two types of materials used for implants;  titanium and zirconium.  Zirconium is relatively new in the states, but used for about a decade in Europe.   Z Systems is one of the approved zirconia implants in the us.

Titanium I find very suspect for causing potential problems in the body because it's metal and probably reacts with cells in ways that are difficult to observe.

Regarding the meridian business, in 1914 Dr. Billings published research
"showing that 95% of all focal infections in the body came from the teeth and tonsils. Billing's work was in turn found by Weston Price, a leading dentist of his day. Price was an advocate of a healthy natural lifestyle and keynote nutrition; in every way he was a great thinker and a pioneer for the way we do things today.

Price had a woman patient for whom he had done a root canal filling. She subsequently developed bad arthritis; it was so severe that she had become bedridden most of the time and her hands were so badly swollen she could barely feed herself. Price was honest enough to ask the question that no dentist cares to ask; could he have made her ill systematically by propagating generalized infection, as Billings had shown? He removed the root-canal filled tooth, carefully and aseptically, to see what would happen. The woman promptly recovered.

From that case forward Price became very interested in the problem of root canal fillings. He had considerable success in helping patients, and published his results widely. There was copious papers by him in the medical and dental literature, most of it in the early 1920's. It is important to recognize that Price was a leading conventional dentist of the day. His views were listened to and for a time, it became the fashion amoungst doctors to recommend extracting teeth with RCF as a cure for arthritis.

In fact this progressed to widespread tooth extractions, root canals or not, which was not what Price originally taught. Unfortunately many cases did not recover as expected. The patient not only continued to suffer the arthritis but was now without any teeth. The approach became unpopular and was eventually discontinued. As a result Price's views were discredited and lost sight of. It was one of those cases where the pendulum swung too far in a particular direction. Price was right of course, but there needed to be some way of choosing patients who would benefit from removing RCF." *

Regarding the metals and implants, my understanding is that you have to have a metal to take the stress of screwing it into your jaw. The problem is that metals have a propensity to flow electrons when in contact with a dissimilar material. This galvanic action is what makes batteries work. Unfortunately this flow of electrons messes with the body's delicate electrical system. You in essence have set up the radio station that Gilligan set up in his head on one show where he could pick up radio stations from his fillings. (Gilligan's Island was a comedy TV show from my youth) Also this post is like an antenna for stray RF in the vicinity bringing about other spurious results.

In Ayurveda it is recognized that all metals affect the body in their own particular way. Without delving too much into the topic, here are some examples;

Silver is cooling and antibacterial as is witnessed by the fact that silver was the bactericide of choice used prior to antibiotics. Marketing explains it's demise. (IMHO) Colloidal silver is still used nowadays for this purpose. So it is good to cool Pitta Dosha and bad for Kapha and Vata.

Aluminum has the property of sludging up the system and explains why it is present in the brains of ahlzheimer patients.

Iron is heating and thus aggravates P while pacifying K and V

Gold is heating and so is good for K and V and bad for P.

For these reasons I had my crowns made from porcelain which is the least reactive choice I could figure out at the time.... If only I had known about raw food and fat at the time.... Oh well, live and learn.

Another fascinating thing about dentistry is 'cooked teeth'. When drilling a tooth,
"despite water cooling, the temperature of the dentine rises by as much as ten degree after just a few seconds of drilling.  In biological terms that is cooking the tooth. This denaturation obviously destroys the viability of the tooth and it's ability to resist bacterial invasion. From over 6,000 cases studied it was uniformly seen that, as soon as a tooth was visited by a high-speed drill, focal osteitis trouble began in connection with that tooth within two years.

I run my Rife type device on my teeth once in awhile as a preventative measure however for teeth the best fix is raw fat and raw foods in general and ditch the toothbrush as it simply cleans away the protective coatings.

So far the Rife device has fixed these issues (and maybe others I have forgotten) that I had prior to the raw diet;

I don't know of which U tube it was, but it pointed out that the main MMS forum, where they share results, there was only One post that wasn't put on it by their ministers, that had any real substance.    The U tubes below are pro MMS.  One thing to look at is what mms costs and what they sell it for.

I hear you Van, but the stuff is used in such small quantities that money has little to do with it and in fact if you know what you are doing you can make it from the powder for very little. We bought the bottles and although have used it for awhile we have used very little of it.

I have used it and it is effective for what I have tried it on. It doesn't work for everything. Some of the things they say it works for I am not sure as I have no experience, but a friend of mine has cured a number of ppl who had cancer by using this along with his rife machine. However an infected root canal which is what this thread is about is an easy one for MMS. You just follow the online formula, gargle or brush your teeth with it.

Basically what MMS does is it acts as an oxidizer and causes the bacteria to blow up (oxidize quickly)

Well, good, it hasn't worked on anything I've tried it for.   And I will try to find that Utube, it's very enlightening.  Most things people claim it works on, would naturally heal with time.  With a infected root canal, there are miles of tubules inside the tooth that are teeming with bacteria, which then exit out the bottom or the root into the bone, and blood supply.  The mms would have to make it through the digestive system and somehow miraculously flow upside the tooth, which now has No blood supply and kill All those bacteria.  I say all, because if it missed just one, the process would start over all over again, as bacteria multiply every ten minutes or so.   Some would like to believe that just gargling in your mouth or brushing your teeth and that would then flood the inside of the tooth with mms.     Again, the official MMS website has Not One bonified testimonial from anyone other than hearsay from a  bishop of their church.  I think that says a lot.

Arthritis is rampant worldwide. Many, many people in this world live a life of pain and misery due to this debilitating dis-ease. How can we eliminate Arthritis?

#1. Years ago, I was diagnosed with Reactive arthritis, also known as Reiters syndrome. I was given Voltaren which took the pain away for a week or two or so and then made it worse. I was then put on Naproxen but that didn’t help any at all. I learned of MMS at an early stage, at the time when 15 drops per day was the recommended dose. All though it made my situation a little bit better the 3 x 15 drops a day did not completely rid me of the pain in my heels, knees and elbow. 
I gave up on MMS until I heard of the new Protocol 1000 which instead of taking 3 x 15 drops a day was 8 x 3 drops a day. I followed protocol 1000 religiously, with NO change in diet, and in fact drinking BEER once in a while. 
I would start taking the protocol 1000 at around 9am in the mornings and keep going every hour for 8 hours a day. After the protocol 1000 before the day was over, I would have dinner, I would drink coca cola, sometimes beer, eat chocolates and basically anything I wanted. 
3-4 weeks later, the pain was gone completely for the first time in years. I could walk without feeling pain AT ALL. NONE! 
However.... 
There was still some pain in my knees when trying to stretch them out. Around that time is when new information came out about CDS, which is Chlorine dioxide gas blown over to a bottle of water. I used CDS as protocol 1000 or probably in even heavier doses than that recommended, for only a few days, and then the pain in the knees also went away.
Now for the first time in years I was completely pain free. I could walk, I could jog, I could run all though running would have painful after effects because it had been so long since I last went for a run. Probably 5 or more years. That is not a problem now.
But as the topic says.. It didn’t cure me. 
In other words, as long as I drink CDS, I am 100% pain free. I can walk up mountains and back down with no problems, I can go for runs, I do whatever I want, but if I don’t drink CDS for two or more days, I can start feeling a little bit of pain in one of my heels. No big deal, but it’s there.   
I am told that the reason for this is that the main cause of my arthritis is actually a Parasite. A worm. That parasite is causing the problem. So even though CDS cleans up after the Parasite, if left alone, the problems caused by the parasite leading to pain, will come back.   
Therefore, I will give Albenazole (anti-worm) medication a try and see how that goes. It is hard to get and heavily regulated, but I’m sure it won’t take too long until I have it. 
I have not experienced any bad side effects from using CDS almost every day for the past 6 months and I rarely if ever get sick anymore, but if I get influenza or anything like that, I have not had it for more than a day or two since I starting the MMS. That goes back to when 15 x 3 was the recommended dose. Years ago!
But that being said, I mean come on. Really. Since CDS is easy to make and works wonders to get the pain away, I recommend it with all my heart. Doctors will give you Voltaren or Naproxen or even chemo for this condition. I never did chemo and never will, but Voltaren and Naproxen did absolutely nothing for me. CDS made me and still do make me 100% pain free. It tastes good and it is cheap and easy to make. Go for it. I will come back with an update to see if this anti-parasite medication does the trick to fix the problem completely.

#2. Had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 30 years. Tried allopathic, dietary, massage, Ayurvedic, nutritional, cleanses, homeopathic, magnetics, Chinese, herbal, yoga, exercise, TENS, etc. etc. Saw over two dozen health professionals. Even had 18 mercury fillings removed. Some things helped a little, some things were outlawed by the FDA. Through prayer I was guided to take MMS. I tried 3 drops activated MMS every hour with 3 drops DMSO added after 3 minutes for 2 weeks about 2 months ago. Finally pain is gone, deformities of elbows, fingers and wrists are almost gone and still reducing in size. Only an agent of darkness would keep this cheap, safe, effective solution from the poor suffering people. Beware. Those who serve the devil's plan, are severely punished eternally after the work is done. Kindly allow the people some relief from their bodily and mental sufferings through use of God-given MMS. #3. In the summer 2012, I visited my family in Germany. My mom had a caretaker from Poland (61-old woman) who had arthritis in her hands; the index and middle finger on her right hand were stiff. I offered her my traveling pack of MMS and she took 4 drops of 28% sodium chlorite solution mixed with only one (!) drop of 50% citric acid - this is the proper stoichiometric ratio, which I calculated. After only 5 days, the swelling in her finger joints was gone, pain was gone and she could move the two fingers that were previously stiff! I was really surprised.
Another lady (72-old, German), a friend of my mom, had rheumatoid arthritis and she also took 4 drops of the sodium chlorite solution, activated with one drop of the 50% citric acid, and after only 2 days, she was pain free - unbelievable! And they are still fine.
Once in a while, I have some pain in my hands and I take the same amount as above and the pain quickly disappears. I use MMS to keep my gum healthy and informed my dentist about it. He found the CLOO-SYS toothpaste and oral rinse and uses these in his practice. I wonder if bacteria in the mouth are the cause of arthritis? When I use more than 5 drops I get diarrhea, so I stay with a maximum of 4 drops. Look also into boron - there seems to be a connection between boron deficiency and arthritis.

#4. Swollen joints and fingers. Since 2005 I suffered from joint pain in my fingers and sometimes even in the joints closer to hand with swollen knuckles. Never went to doctor but this was still somewhat painful at times I worked as chef using my hands and fingers a lot.
Then in the end of 2010 I saw an interview with Jim humble and researched the MMS topic further. Ended up buying a bottle from the web and started to use mms, first one drop and then I went up as high in drops per hour I could. At 10 drops I got severe diarrhea and had to stop for a while and then maintained a doses under 10 drops. After a few weeks fingers felt better and a month later my fingers got totally well, no pain no swollen joints. Today, almost a year later, and although not been regular at all my fingers are totally healed

I have known of MMS for years, but not the protocol for cancer.  I started using the cancer protocol for a 21 year old malignant breast tumor this year without knowing about the protocol for arthritis.   To my amazement, the arthritis in my left wrist and hand has disappeared.  I got on the website and low and behold others had been using it with success for arthritis as well.  One of the points I would like to make here is that I was not influenced in any way by others reports.  The pain of arthritis may not be life threatening, but it certainly takes away from life enjoyment.

I have a 9 month old Aierdale/shepherd mix.  About a month ago I noticed a lump on his neck, within 24 hours the lump had swelled so large you could see it from across the room.  I took him to the vet where they put him on antibiotics-did no help.  We switched to a different antibiotic and that did take down the swelling but nothing for the lump.  He had his first surgery to remove the lump and they had to tke out 3 lymph nodes that were infected.  took him home and within 3 days the neck swelled up again, more antibiotics and 2 weeks later another surgery, this time with a drainage tube, that seemed to work.  Drainage tube removed and within 1 week yet another lump back to the vet more antibiotics which did not help and within 2 days 3 lumps.  2 that were squishy and 1 very hard.  My friend suggested MMS which she took for her cancer.  I read these testimonials and I felt very encouraged, I started him out with 3 drops and organic chicken broth, he slurped it down happily.  Within 3 hours 1 lump was GONE!  I upped the dose to 4 drops every 4 hours. I started this on a Saturday morning so I would be home to monitor it.  By Sunday afternoon-only 1 lump left and it was the huge/hard lump, now it was size of a small marble and soft.  Monday morning almost completely gone-no swelling at all.  He had no reaction at all to the MMS-will keep him on it until the last lump is completely gone and then see what happens.

I just uploading the Utube,,, but in lieu,  type in mms debunked, and then under MMS testimonials,  there's video with doctor and female patient.   Watch that one and tell me what you think.    Please pay particular attention as to Where the testimonials actually come from.   thanks
    Another thing you can do at home..   Mix up some yogurt starter.   Add some mms to it.  Then try to make yogurt with it.  Humble claims that mms will only go after (I forget neg. or pos. type as I think he declares) 'bad' bacteria.   I don't believe it. 

 Whether or not one can make their own mms for pennies, the fact is that it's sold continuously for much more, and somebody is making quite a bit on it.  Not that we aren't meant to make money and a living, but it can also be a reason to promote something that is making you lots of money.

Van I am usually on your side with your thoughts but I cannot accept this., I've dug up and posted a boatload of testimonials, youtubes etc. I am currently reading his book circa 2009.

I tried doing the "MMS debunked" but did not see what you suggested. One debunker or a hundred debunkers is not worth one person who suffers for years with a problem and then is cured.

If you look up raw paleo diet debunked good luck sifting through the rubbish. Anybody with a computer can type up this drivel. Maybe even PPL with an agenda..... These cranks come out of the woodwork with anything other than what highly paid Doctors, drug companies, food makers etc want you to blindly accept.

The stuff costs less than a cent per dose and one dentist visit is worth about 10 years of MMS usage in volumes of cash. Period.

Regarding cost, there is two parts to the response;

I do not begrudge anyone what they charge for their services, because if it is too much I search elsewhere or I try making it myself

The legendarily inflated costs of pharmaceuticals is totally insane and not even ballpark to anything else in society. These costs bear no relationship to costs of certification or production, they are simply whatever they can get away with given their protection under patent law and their guaranteed prescribers (Doctors and Dentists) that are well paid to direct patients to take the rubbish. It is well known that pharmaceutical companies spend twice as much (35%) on marketing than they spend on research (17%) despite what they claim, to keep their patent protection longer.

A stockbroker friend informs me that the pharma companies are always on the top of the heap of money earners annually and have been for many years due to their well oiled machine.

These pharmaceuticals are prescribed or used by professionals who are/were willing to use mercury in the teeth of their trusting patients starting around circa 1850-60 when the ADA started up in frustration at the old dental association that would not allow their members to do this ancient and dangerous practice. Despite lots of science from countries around the world, the ADA would not admit that there was anything wrong with putting a neurotoxin in the mouths of their patients. So why would any professional risk their patients lives and health with this neurotoxin? Well because it was really cheap and allowed them to charge more for their services and less for materials, increasing their profit to levels that make a piddly little bottle of MMS a joke.

I appreciate that you had no luck with it, but I personally tried it for a few things and it worked perfectly, just as it said it would in the instructions. Not everything works with everybody and that has nothing to do with suggestibility or efficacy or whatever. Maybe your supplier was using faulty methods of production, maybe your batch was bad, maybe you unwittingly mixed the wrong ratios. The old method was 5 drops to 1. Maybe the MMS was contaminated somehow. Maybe you consumed the MMS with food or a drink that contained vitamin c or pathogens... Hunos

Re: how does it make it all the way through the body to the teeth, the same could be said about pretty much every pharmaceutical ever created. Fact is it did/does and as far as I am concerned, I am glad it did. It is stated clearly that it is not as strong an oxidizer as say ozone or hydrogen peroxide and so it must be taken more often. It is gentle in action which is a good thing AFAIAC.

As far as how does it make it down through all the tubules (the teeth are made of) when applied topically..... well the same could be said about any of the disinfectants that dentists typically use and the fillings that dentists use.

there is nothing dentist can use that will travel down the tubules... unless they open up the tooth and use say ozone, or high ph medications that are left inside the tooth for some days..  If you've gotten results, good.   But all the reasons why it may not have worked for me, the one's you listed, weren't applicable.

Ten years ago I had a root canal procedure without knowing the dangers of them. I had mine checked recently and surprise, surprise, it's infected.

I've increased my intake of spring water to help flush out toxins, and eat as much fat as possible. I have a consultation with a holistic dentist soon about getting rid of this tooth and detoxing. Does anyone have any advice for this?

When I had learned about the folly of root canals, I just had my one root canalled molar extracted, no questions asked.

I do believe you can buy some time with properly treated and sealed root canal teeth.   

there are sealants that bond the canal to the root tip.  One problem is that sometimes they miss a canal or opening into the tooth.  And eventually you have this dead mass that is just waiting to reinfect.     The older gutta percha (rubber) canal fillings would shrink over time and leave passage ways for the bacteria to go in and set up house.  Now, I would get an implant at the time of extraction, and forgo the expense of the root canal altogether.
